Admission Procedure upto Class IX

Age Eligibility : As on 1st April of the academic session for which admission is sought.
PP-1 : 3+ years
PP-2 : 4+ years
PP-3 : 5+ years
Class-1 : 6+ years
Class-2 : 7+ years

Registration : Registration form is available on the school website is to be submitted for registrations. Please note that the Registration does not in any way guarantee admission.
Admission Test -
The children who have registered will have to appear for an admission test, which may be written or oral as laid by the school for different levels.

  • The selection of the candidate will depend upon the child's performance in the test and availability of seats in the concerned class.
  • Based on the admission test and other criteria, the school reserves the right to admit any student who is found fit for admission. For all matters related to admissions, the decision of the Principal/ Management will be final.


Admission Process -
Students offered admission must complete the following formalities before joining the school -

  • Submission of D.O.B. Certificate.
  • Evidence of passing the last class report card.
  • Original Transfer Certificate from the previous school.
  • Four passport size photographs.
  • Aadhar Card of child and parents both.
  • SRN and Family Id of child will be required.

Admission Procedure for Class XI

Admission Procedure -
1) Fill up a registration form - available on school website, download from www.indianmodernsrsecschool.com.
2) Submit the form dully filled along with attested photocopy of class X marksheet of the Board Examination.
3) In case a candidate does not receive his class X marksheet from the Board due to any reason, he/she may submit a provisional marksheet obtained from his/her school along with the form.
Documents Required for Admission -

  • Attested photocopy of marksheet from the Board/School.
  • Attested photocopy of passing and migration certificates from Board for students admitted from other Boards.
  • Four passport size photographs of the student.
  • School Leaving Certificate, daily signed by the school Principal.
  • Conduct and Character Certificate from the school last attended.

Rules and Regulations

  • Students are not allowed to go home during school hours unless in exceptional cases when their parents/guardians send a letter or ring up or come in person.
  • Students are to keep their classrooms/school campus neat and clean. Lunch leftovers, wrappers, paper pieces etc should not be thrown here and there. These must be thrown in dustbins provided
  • They must obey the instructions of the class monitors/prefects/volunteers on duty.
  • No student will spoil/deface/scratch any part of the School building or furniture etc.Defaulters shall have to make good the breakage/loss/damage.
  • Students are supposed to reach the School at least 5-10 minutes before the morning School bell goes. Late comers can be sent back home.
  • When the School is over for the day, students must go home straight and not roam around.They should reach home safe and in time.
  • A student absent in the examination is not re-examined. Absence in one or two subjects involves the loss of marks for those subjects and loss of rank.
  • A student failing twice in the same class will not be allowed to join the School again.
  • Students are not allowed to bring valuable articles along with them to School. The School will not be responsible for any goods
  • No Students is allowed to miss any extra special class to be held by any teacher on any day.Absentees will be heavily fined.

Advice/Recommendations To Parents/Guardians

  • Parents and guardians of the students are requested to co-operate with the School authorities by enforcing regularity and discipline by seeing that their children prepare their lessons and by taking an active and helpful part in the activities of the School.
  • They are expected to sign Progress Report or any other similar notification when so requested.
  • Parents/guardians are not allowed to meet the class teacher in the class room. All complaints/requests should be made to the Receptionist. The Principal is also easily accessible to parents on request. Visits to students or teachers during School hours are strictly forbidden. Permission must be obtained in unavoidable cases.
  • Children are not to be sent to School when they have any kind of infection.
  • Homework diaries of children should be checked time to time.
  • They should see that their children do attend extra/special classes held by teachers from time to time. Absentees will be fined and may not be allowed to attend such special classes in future.
  • They are to ensure that fee and other dues are paid by 10th of every month, after which Rs.20/- will be charged as late fee fine upto 15th of the month, failing which fine of Rs. 100/- will be charged in the next schedule for fee deposition.
  • Parents should and must spare some of their precious time for their children to be in touch with them regarding their performance in studies, as their children are more precious than anything else in the world.
  • Parents must attend Parents-Teachers whenever so notified, so that teachers too could apprise them of their ward’s performance in studies.

Hostel Rules

  • All the boarders are to rigidly abide by the rules and regulations enacted from time to time by the school authorities for the maintenance of strict discipline.
  • No boarder shall keep more than Rs. 200/- as cash with him.
  • Boarders shall not keep with them transistors, radios, cameras, mobiles, i-pod and any other costly articles in the hostel. Retention of such items shall entail heavy fine.
  • No clothes more than prescribed ones are allowed to retain by the boarders.
  • No boarder can leave the hostel premises without seeking the prior written permission of the warden and the principal.
  • The school and hostel authorities do not take any responsibility, legal or financial, for any injury caused to a boarder in an accidental mishap.
  • Parents/ Guardians are advised not to see their children too often as it can disturb them emotionally. They should not go and relax in the rooms with their children.
  • Parents desirous of seeing their child’s teacher may come to the school on the second Saturday of the month between 12 noon to 3 PM. Hence they should not visit the school any other day to maintain the decorum and avoid unnecessary embarrassment.
  • Only the parents, the guardians or the authorized persons whose photos have already been submitted to the office can see their children/wards.
  • A boarder is permitted to go home only four times in a year:
    > Summer Vacations
    > Diwali Break
    > Winter Vacations
    > Session break in March
  • In case of a boarder’s being seriously ill his/her parents/guardians are informed by telephone. All the charges for getting hospitalized will be realized/paid by the parents.
  • Parents are advised to avoid making frequent calls, for an excessive communication with boarders as this not only affects their concentration but also make them feel home sick.
  • If a boarder leaves the hostel without prior notice or remains absent for more than a month, he/she will automatically forfeit the right of his/her belongings.
  • A candidate who seeks admission to the school does not ensure admission to the hostel as well. It depends on vacant seats available in the hostel.
